Our smokeless peat briquettes have been Ireland’s favourite solid fuel for over 60 years. Made from 100% natural products, they are just as suitable for open fires as for stoves, and are easy to light. Bord na Móna’s peat briquettes have a long burn time and a high heat output, and of course will create that homely feeling you can only get with the scent of burning real Irish peat. Each pack contains 20 briquettes which will burn for up to 3 hours in optimum conditions, and are also ideal for rekindling a dying fire.

Peat briquettes have a unique aroma and a bright flame.  They are easy to use and very easy to light using just a couple of fire lighters.  They are a very flexible fuel which can be used alone or combined with other types of solid fuels and are idea for use in an open fire, multi-fuel stove or solid fuel cooker as well as in chimineas, fire bowls or fire pits.  They are 100% natural with no additives, binding agents or colouring.
