Price is for supply of 8 packs of real Irish smokeless peat briquettes, each weighing 12.5kg for a total quantity of 100kg delivered in 4 boxes.  Price includes delivery to most UK postcodes.

The peat briquettes supplied by Liverpool Wood Pellets are genuine Irish peat briquettes which have been manufactured to precise standards in Ireland for the last 60 years.  They are constructed of milled peat which is dried and then pressed under high pressure to form a solid briquette.  As these briquettes are always the same size and quality they produce a consistent high heat output and long burn time. The rectangular shape makes them easy to stack and store easily.

If you’ve never used peat briquettes before then you won’t appreciate the unique homely aroma it gives off or the unique rich bright flame it gives off.  An unforgettable fire you’ll want to go back to time and time again which only genuine Irish peat can produce.  With normal use they will give you a long burn time of up to three hours, but they can also be used to rekindle the dying embers of a fire or used with vents closed in a stove to keep a low fire burning overnight.

Peat briquettes are much drier than turf and therefore much easier to light using just a couple of fire lighters which can be purchased from the associated products below.  They are clean and easy to use, with low sulphur emissions and they contain no additives or binders.
